Recess and After School Program Staff- Duties
The Recess and After School Program Leader will facilitate supervision of snacks, education, recreation and/or enrichment activities at Lashon Academy for students TK-8th grade. Previous experience as an after school program staff, summer camp counselor, youth sports coach, recreation coach, or youth program mentor strongly preferred). This role is for candidates with professional experience supervising and engaging larger groups of children at once, rather than primarily working one-on-one with a single student.
Recess and After School Program Staff- Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Strongly Preferred (Preferably in Education, Psychology, Child Development or related field)
- 1 year experience working with kids in a school setting or youth enrichment program Required (Examples: after school programs, summer camp counselor, youth sports coach, recreation coach, youth programs)
- Must clear TB and LiveScan Fingerprint check before hire date.
- Must be CPR certified

Schedule: Multiple shifts are available. You may indicate interest in more than one shift; however, if hired, you will be assigned to only one shift. Please do not apply unless you can commit to at least one of the shifts for the entire school year ( August 10th 2026- May 28th 2027)
