Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with bar management duties as needed
- Handle cash register operations efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cashiering and retail math calculations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail creation, wine service, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using excellent time management skills
- Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and inventory management
- Passion for the food industry with an understanding of beverage trends such as brewing techniques and hospitality best practices
