Golf Shop Lead (Full-Time)
Davie Golf Club is looking for a friendly, dependable, and golf-minded Golf Shop Lead to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with golf knowledge who enjoys working with people and is looking to take the next step beyond a traditional golf shop position. As the Golf Shop Lead, you'll help oversee the daily golf shop operation, support our guests from check-in through their round, and serve as the lead team member when the Operations Manager is off.
You'll work in a fun, fast-paced environment with a small team where every day is different and every guest interaction matters.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check in golfers, manage tee times, and process golf shop and retail transactions.
- Answer questions about the golf course, pace of play, and daily operations.
- Assist with golf shop merchandising, retail displays, and inventory.
- Support the First Tee Host and outside operations as needed.
- Monitor pace of play and provide courteous on-course assistance to golfers.
- Serve as the lead team member during assigned shifts, handling routine guest concerns and day-to-day operational decisions when the Operations Manager is off.
- Assist with daily reports, merchandising, inventory, and other administrative tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming golf shop.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of the game of golf is required.
- Previous golf shop, golf operations, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with guests.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Available to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Must be able to consistently work 32–40 hours per week.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and safely operate a golf cart.
