NMC is a full service CPA firm, located in Blue Ash, Ohio, offering a wide variety of tax, assurance, and consulting services to our clientele in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Job Summary:
This position will primarily provide and support client accounting services. The role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with a variety of clients and the satisfaction that comes with helping business owners maintain timely and accurate accounting records. The applicant would also provide in-office accounting support to our firms audit and attest team members.
Job Duties:
- Maintain or review client records in accounting software, primarily in QuickBooks Desktop & Online
- Manage bank and credit card feeds into the software, codification of transactions, establish rules for posting, and reconciliation of accounts
- Produce interim or annual financial statements from accounting software
- Work with client business owners, office administrators or accounting staff to ensure accurate posting of transactions
- Assist clients with QuickBooks setup and software related questions
- Resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Highly skilled in utilizing bank feeds and account reconciliations
- Core knowledge of financial reporting from QuickBooks software
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work with multiple clients and manage deadlines
- Experience working with small business clients
