POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Personnel will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains an accurate running inventory

Restocks supplies and inventory; places blanket and special orders as needed

Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system

Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy
-
Records, reports, and returns defective items
-
Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and recordkeeping
-
Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area
-
Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues
-
Take initiative to complete all required training, stay current on new and updated employee information available through the Company’s various platforms
- All other duties assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift truck
- Knowledge of warehouse operations preferred
- Must complete ongoing education and training offered on topics such as safety, job training requirements, employee informational documents, policy changes, etc…

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposed to work in manufacturing /machining area settings with exposure to oil, coolant, and metal residues

Intermittent exposure to sounds or noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable

Primarily requires sitting but at times, requires long periods of standing

At times, work is completed in a manufacturing facility requiring appropriate protective equipment at all times
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Lift and carry a maximum of 45 pounds
- Safely climb ladders

Wear protective eyewear and/or other protective gear correctly
