The Imaging Information Support Specialist provides key support to the Highland Breast Imaging department. This team facilitates critical triage between other physicians and Radiologists, Locates all previous mammography images from Highland Hospital or outside facilities and ensures they are in the department 48 hours before the patient's scheduled visit. Loans mammography images to outside facilities using eRecord sign-out protocol. Uploads digital images as requested using PowerShare and Sectra protocols
Salary Range:
$19.63 - $26.50 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of mammography or radiology office experience preferred.
License/Certification Required: None
Skills: Computer skills essential. Advanced skills and Medical terminology experience preferred, i.e. Experience with information technology and demonstrated ability to utilize computers and wide variety of software programs. Ability to work independently.
