Schedule: Days (Rotating Weekends | Typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, staggered)
Pay Range: $32.52 – $44.72/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
Job Description
Overview
A new acute care hospital opening in 2026 in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its rehabilitation team.
This is an opportunity to be part of a new facility launch, working across acute care and a dedicated inpatient rehab unit to help patients regain independence, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions

Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed

Document patient outcomes accurately and efficiently

Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and recovery strategies

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Support safe patient transitions across care settings

Mentor therapy assistants or students as needed
Qualifications
Required:
-
Licensed Occupational Therapist (or eligible) in Florida
-
BLS within 30 days of hire
Preferred:
-
1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience (acute care or inpatient rehab)
