Job Overview
As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking parts and accessories, assisting customers with their parts needs, maintaining inventory, and supporting the service department with timely parts fulfillment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong computer knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming parts calls and assist customers with parts inquiries and orders.
- Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter.
- Place daily and weekly stock orders.
- Pull and fill parts orders for the service department.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep up with PAR inventory.
- Process daily Smart Supply entries.
- Balance and reconcile the daily cash drawer.
- Maintain a clean, organized parts counter, warehouse, and customer lobby.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure timely parts availability.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of agricultural, construction, automotive, or heavy equipment parts preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read basic parts diagrams and exploded views.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
