Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality mobile kitchens and restaront products, ensuring adherence to safety standards and technical specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
- Perform MIG, TIG, LASER, and welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal, structual, out of stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble parts.
- Measure dimensions precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Execute ductwork fabrication, and assembly of structural components following ASME codes & standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during welding, machining, soldering, and fabrication processes.
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of safety procedures in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, Hand held laser welding techniques, and specific welding standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, machining operations, soldering, rigging, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication work.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred.
