Teza Doors & Windows is a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium aluminum doors and windows serving homeowners, contractors, architects, designers, and dealers throughout California. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with extensive knowledge of the doors and windows industry to lead our sales team, develop new business opportunities, and help drive company growth.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and coaching the sales team, developing relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and dealers, reviewing architectural plans, preparing project estimates, and helping close high-value residential and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the doors and windows industry and is comfortable reading architectural drawings, identifying project requirements, and providing technical guidance to customers and sales staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of inside and outside sales representatives
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff
- Review architectural plans, construction drawings, and project specifications
- Identify door and window requirements from architectural plans
- Prepare and review project estimates and quotations
- Meet with contractors, builders, architects, designers, and homeowners
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers and commercial accounts
- Track sales performance and provide regular reporting to management
- Assist sales team with technical product knowledge and project solutions
- Negotiate contracts and close large residential and commercial projects
- Coordinate with operations, production, and installation teams to ensure project success
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings as needed
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the doors and windows industry
- Minimum 3 years of sales management experience
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial door and window systems
- Experience preparing project takeoffs and estimates
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Preferred
- Experience with aluminum door and window systems
- Knowledge of California building codes and energy requirements
- Existing relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and developers
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar plan-review software
