Leading manufacturer of complex orthopedic instruments is seeking a CNC machinist for our clean, well-lit and air conditioned modern machine shop on the weekend shift (Fri, Sat, Sun 5:00am-5:30pm). Work 36 get 4 hour bonus.
Qualifications/skills: One to two years machining experience is preferred with competency in the use of precision measuring equipment ability to read, understand and interpret blue prints, understand and apply SPC and GD&T, competency in shop math.
Job Duties: Set-up and operation of a variety of CNC and standard/manual machines. Perform complex, first-run set ups unassisted and within acceptable time limits; select proper tools, equipment and materials; use all precision measuring equipment to perform in-process and final dimensional checks; select and use correct tooling, fixtures and gages for set-up.
