Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and nail care consultations.
- Conduct skincare treatments like pedicures, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing to meet client needs.
- Apply eyelash extensions and provide consultation on color theory for customized looks.
- Follow salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products confidently.
- Maintain detailed records of services provided and ensure disinfection procedures are strictly followed between appointments.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail care techniques.
- Proficiency in salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and overall salon safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships.
- Experience working in the beauty industry with skills in esthetic laser treatment, hair styling, body waxing, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and barbering.
- Ability to perform advanced nail techniques such as nail extensions and dermabrasion while maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Retail sales experience with upselling skills to recommend products like skincare items or hair care products effectively.
- Strong communication skills paired with retail math knowledge to manage transactions accurately while enhancing the client experience.
