Job Title: Sleep Technician Assistant (Part-Time)
Employment Type: Part-time– overnight 12-hour shift
Pay Range: $18-$22 hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Sleep Technician Assistant to support overnight sleep studies. In this role, you will greet and check in sleep study patients, explain testing procedures, and set patients up with monitoring leads and wires. This position requires diligence, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Work closely with a remote sleep technician who scores the studies, providing direct assistance throughout the night by troubleshooting and correcting leads that produce artifacts.
· Assist with CPAP mask fittings, monitoring patient comfort and safety.
· Deliver excellent patient care and clear communication at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Work experience in a patient contact role in a healthcare environment
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures and demonstrates commitment to task.
- Must be an effective team member.
- Must have good human relations and communication skills.
- Establish and maintain Basic Life Support certification.
