Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational experiences
- Monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to coordinate activities and maintain a cohesive learning environment
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to provide tutoring or additional support to children as needed
- Familiarity with math concepts for early childhood education
