Heartthrob Exhaust in Litchfield has an opening for a tube fabricator. What does a tube bender do? Well, we train up that person to be responsible for making the tubes I’ve been highlighting on our Facebook page.
It starts with a print and a straight piece of tubing. You would primarily be responsible to cut, bend, secondary cut, expand, flare, bead, shrink, drill, machine, paint, dot peening, pressure testing, and possibly welding the tube to our customers needs. Welding skills are helpful but not necessary. But you don’t know how to operate a CNC tube bender? That’s okay, we will train you on running parts, doing tooling changes, and programming the bender, along with safely operating the dozen or so other machines to make the parts. We make hundreds of different parts for our customers. If you like variety, with no two days the same, don’t like repetitive work, and like getting your hands dirty, this may be for you.
We run one shift M-F from 8 am to 5 pm. Requirements for the job:
18+
A self-starter who can pick-up and retain processes to do the job
Good handle on using a tape measure
Good attendance
Welding experience is helpful but not necessary
