Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and beverage standards.
- Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery and proper billing.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest pairings or specials to increase sales opportunities.
- Support bar management in maintaining inventory levels, restocking supplies, and rotating stock as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or server in a hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or upscale venues.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, with excellent basic math skills for cash handling and retail math accuracy.
- Demonstrated expertise in cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and beverage sanitation standards.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with hospitality software is advantageous.
