Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support framing, formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete pouring activities according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other heavy-duty tools safely and effectively
- Perform demolition, masonry, stucco application, roofing, tile laying, and flooring installation tasks as directed by supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprint specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Conduct site clean-up, material organization, and ensure adherence to safety standards throughout all phases of construction projects
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with familiarity in various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or restoration projects
- Hands-on knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting detailed blueprints or technical drawings
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery used in concrete mixing, cutting, finishing, and pumping
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a secure work environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during concrete finishing or formwork construction
- Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation (including plastering), caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, or flooring installation is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the flexibility to adapt to various project requirements including renovation or commercial building tasks
