Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. As a BCaBA, you will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote positive growth and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure treatment efficacy and inform ongoing adjustments.
- Support patient care by monitoring client responses during therapy sessions, documenting medical records, and maintaining HIPAA compliance for confidentiality.
- Participate in intake processes, including initial assessments and medical documentation, to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the supervisory BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral health protocols.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and medical terminology in compliance with healthcare standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Hands-on experience applying behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
- Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, data collection, and progress tracking.
- Background in special education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes within behavioral health settings.
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills when working with diverse populations.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
