We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, safety, housekeeping, and operational effectiveness of our buildings and grounds. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards.
The Facilities Manager will oversee facility maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, housekeeping operations, vendor relationships, capital improvement projects, and emergency response activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating safe, clean, and well-maintained spaces for employees, residents, clients, and visitors.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.

Oversee maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.

Respond to facility emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Ensure maintenance shops, storage areas, and workspaces remain safe, organized, and compliant.

Manage work order systems and maintain maintenance and project records.

Facilitate the movement and secure storage of organizational assets.
- Oversee housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness of occupied and public areas.

Ensure grounds are maintained and free of debris.

Monitor facility appearance and organization standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Coordinate fire safety, disaster preparedness, and evacuation drills.

Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation and safety records.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Promote and enforce workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Lead and develop facilities and housekeeping staff.

Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.

Conduct employee evaluations and support professional development.

Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Manage contractors and vendors for facility projects and renovations.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Additional education, certifications, or technical training preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or related experience.

Supervisory or management experience preferred.

- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
