The Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of construction projects, overseeing all on-site operations from mobilization through project completion. Serves as the primary field leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with the Project Manager, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction manager, project manager, or in a similar field leadership
- Familiarity with government construction standards, quality management programs, and construction management software.
- Proven experience leading projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and budget management.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead field personnel, manage multiple trades, and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction documentation, daily reports, inspections, project scheduling, and project closeout activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience managing federal, military, healthcare, commercial, or other complex ground-up construction projects.
