Job Summary
Are you a skilled financial leader who thrives in dynamic, multi-business environments? ETown Group is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations across our fast-growing multi-state portfolio of hotels, express carwashes, and pickleball/sports centers!
In this role, you will manage full-cycle accounting, lead month-end close procedures, ensure multi-state tax compliance, and build integrated reporting across diverse POS and accounting platforms.
What You'll Do
- Lead GL operations, financial closes, and consolidated reporting for multiple companies across state lines.
- Handle unique industry revenue models, including lodging night audits, carwash recurring subscriptions, and sports venue bookings.
- Ensure total compliance with multi-state sales tax, local lodging/transient taxes, and statutory filings.
- Reconcile merchant processors, daily POS logs, and multi-location bank accounts.
- Partner with executive management on cash flow, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience (multi-entity or multi-state required).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
- Hands-on experience with multi-unit software integrations (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, POS, PMS).
- Strong multi-state sales/lodging tax knowledge.
- Willingness to work in or relocate to the Elizabethtown, KY area.
