Meadows Ford in Mountain View, Arkansas is looking for a Parts Manager to join our growing dealership team!
-We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Manager. This role is vital to the efficiency and daily operations of our shop. The Parts Manager will be responsible for managing the parts department, ensuring accurate inventory control, distributing parts to technicians in a timely manner, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
-The ideal candidate understands the importance of organization, urgency, and communication in a fast paced automotive repair environment.
Responsibilities:
- Order and source parts accurately and efficiently for repair orders as needed
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts for accuracy and condition
- Distribute parts promptly to technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Ensure parts are being returned in a timely manner and follow up on outstanding returns.
- Update inventory records to reflect returned items, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Ensure the parts department is tidy, organized, and clean at all times, following best practices for storage and maintenance.
- Maintain a well-organized parts inventory, ensuring quick and easy access to products.
Qualifications:
- Experience in auto parts or in a similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
