Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Audit Shift Associate, working from 11pm to 7am. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth overnight operations of our hotel, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial and operational records. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and guest accounts
- Prepare and review daily financial reports, including revenue summaries and audit reports, to ensure all data is complete and correct
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs for late arrivals or early departures with professionalism and warmth, utilizing phone communication and front desk procedures
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or issues via phone or in person, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor security cameras, perform safety inspections, and follow hotel emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff
- Assist with reservation management using hospitality reservation systems, ensuring seamless booking processes for incoming guests
- Complete shift reports detailing daily activities, incidents, or unusual occurrences to ensure continuity and transparency for the next team member
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively under pressure
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests confidently
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for client interaction during night hours
- Previous night audit experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during overnight shifts while maintaining attentiveness and professionalism
