Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored massage plans
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address specific concerns
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate treatment plans for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and relevant medical history using professional terminology
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and pain management strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and individualized treatment planning
- Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices
- Prior experience working in a medical spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and maintaining hygiene standards in clinical environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with healthcare teams
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
