Overview
Stark Solutions is currently looking to hire an additional Mechanical Drafter experienced with SolidWorks to join our dynamic team.
Essential Job Functions
- Generate new drawing files from existing 3D model files, using existing similar drawings as reference
- Increase standard library of parts by scaling up existing library models and assemblies
- Update existing drawing files for ease of use by other company departments (manufacturing, quality, sales)
- Generate customer level drawings from manufacturing assemblies
- Create/Update models and/or drawings as required by Engineering Change Order process
- Manually convert AutoCAD and/or PDF drawings into SolidWorks models and drawings
- Assist Mechanical Design Engineer’s in creation of technical documentation relevant to product designs
- Participate in ISO, ASME, and other company audits as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with SolidWorks ( preferred) or other 3D modeling software
- Experience with ePDM (or other PDM solution)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel. Intermediate level knowledge of Excel formulas and data manipulation preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions
- Ability to multitask multiple projects with guidance on priority/importance
- Familiar with ISO 9001 standards
Physical Requirements
This position requires sitting at a computer desk for multiple hours at a time. Physical demands will involve bending, stooping, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling and otherwise moving objects weighing as much as 30 lbs.
