We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Utilize 3D scanners for accurate imaging and impressions when required.
- Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach to create a comfortable experience.
- Collaborate with the dental team in general dentistry, endodontics, and other specialized treatments as necessary.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or general dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
