Ideal Candidate for Toddler Afternoon Assistant Teacher Position
We are currently hiring a Part Time Toddler Afternoon Assistant. We are looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible individual who loves working with young children. The ideal candidate will communicate well with both children and parents and be comfortable working alongside different teachers as classroom needs arise.

Pay and Schedule
· Position: Part-Time Toddler Afternoon Assistant Teacher
· Hours: Approximately 17.5–20 hours per week
· Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (or 6:30 PM as needed)
· Pay Rate: $16–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Requirements
· Minimum of one year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare facility.
· Must be available to work Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
· Must be comfortable changing diapers and assisting with toileting needs.
· Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
· Be able to independently supervise and engage up to nine children when needed.
· Assist with arts and crafts and classroom activities.
· Must communicate effectively in English with parents, children, and fellow staff members.
· High School Diploma preferred.
· Prior Montessori experience is a plus.
