We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to join our team as a Car Hauling Driver. Based out of Cleveland, Ohio, the successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting up to three cars using a diesel pickup truck and a Take 3 trailer with a 50-53 foot low pro one deck.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely load and unload vehicles onto the trailer.
- Drive responsibly and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean insurance records.
- Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of CDL experience.
- Experience in transporting vehicles, particularly to dealerships and auction sites such as Manheims.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles to and from designated locations.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete daily routes.
- Maintain communication with dispatch team and report any issues or delays promptly.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid CDL license with clean driving record.
- Minimum 1-2 years of CDL driving experience.
- Experience in car hauling preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle loading and securing procedures.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of routes in the Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania areas.
- Ability to work long hours, typically 10-12 hours per day.
- Must be able to work within legal driving hour limits and follow company policies regarding hours of service.
