Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a very fast-paced environment in our BBQ restaurant. This position is a bartender/server position - you will do both the whole shift.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, as well as bus tables, etc
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs on our POS system
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including checking identification for age verification.
- Learn open and close procedures
- Experience
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is required
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
