Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Maker and bring craftsmanship to life through precise woodworking and custom cabinetry projects. In this role, you will transform raw materials into beautifully crafted cabinets, fixtures, and furniture that enhance both residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for creating custom wood products, such as cabinetry, furniture, beams, walls, and moulding. You should have excellent craftsmanship skills and the ability to work independently and with various materials. This is a senior-level production position with no direct supervisory responsibilities. The right candidate should be highly skilled, and leads by example through quality workmanship, reliability, and attention to detail while working under the direction of the Production Lead and Production Manager.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble custom cabinets and furniture using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and siding work as needed for cabinetry projects
- Conduct surface preparation including sanding, caulking, plastering, painting, and finishing to achieve high-quality results
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and completed products while maintaining safety protocols on the shop floor
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on all construction site
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry, carpentry and millwork fabrication
- Must have 3-5 years experience
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders, CNC machines) for fabrication and assembly
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, CNC machinery operation, and schematic fabrication processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of raw materials and be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Experience in laminating/applying veneers
- Forklift certification a plus
