Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. . You will be responsible for supporting medical teams with patient intake, vital signs, medication administration, and documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is highly motivated, dependable, and excited to contribute to a smaller clinic environment. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the clinic expands.
Duties
- Conduct patient intake assessments, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs accurately
- Manage patient documentation efficiently within EHR systems while ensuring compliance with ICD coding standards for diagnoses and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist during outpatient visits.
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Assist in coordinating patient care
- Support clinic workflow with strong organizational and planning skills
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Contribute to team development and help build clinic processes
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state licensing
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and familiarity with X-ray procedures is highly desirable
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, specimen collection, and basic life support certification (BLS)
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in fast-paced environments
