Happy Mile USA LLC is hiring an experienced CDL-A Local Driver to support our growing transportation and logistics operations in Laredo, Texas. We specialize in the safe, compliant transportation of high-value and regulated freight, including refrigerated products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and industrial cargo throughout Texas and the Southern United States.

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Safely operate Class A equipment (Dry Van, Reefer)

Take trucks to preventative maintenance

Load/Unload trailers
-
Follow Hours of Service (HOS) rules and maintain accurate logs (Samsara ELD)

Deliver cargo on schedule while protecting company and customer assets

Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

Possible routes throughout Texas

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (I-9 required)

Must meet FMCSA English proficiency requirements for commercial drivers (49 CFR §391.11)

3+ years of CDL Class A driving experience (Reefer, Dry Van)

Availability after hours and on weekends

Clean driving record and strong safety awareness

Valid CDL Class A, DOT Medical Card

Must pass DOT drug screening and Clearinghouse query as required by federal regulations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential driver duties

Experience with Samsara ELD and hazmat or temperature-controlled freight
