Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Drive box trucks or <PERSON> vehicles along designated routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
- Assist customers with moving items into or out of residences or commercial spaces, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining safety on the road
- Operate manual transmission vehicles with skill and confidence, ensuring smooth driving experiences
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services with a valid driver’s license suitable for box trucks or <PERSON> vehicles
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace
- Ability to load & unload items efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks when required (certification preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while following safety protocols

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per day
