What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and proofread tax‑related legal documents, IRS correspondence, powers of attorney, and petitions
- Handle IRS and state tax filings, submissions, and e‑services portal tasks
- Organize client financial documents and supporting paperwork
- Maintain detailed electronic and physical case files
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, reminders, and client meeting schedules
- Communicate professionally with clients, IRS agents, accountants, and courts
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including exhibits and timelines
- Track case progress and ensure timely responses to IRS notices
- Assist with billing, engagement letters, and general administrative tasks
What You Bring:
- Experience in a tax, legal, or accounting office (preferred)
- Understanding of basic tax forms and terminology (a plus, not required)
- Excellent writing, grammar, and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and support multiple attorneys
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and strong client service skills
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
