Kern County Neurological Medical Group is seeking a dependable, patient-focused NCS / NCV / EMG Technician to join our growing neurology practice. Since 1977, our clinic has provided comprehensive neurological care to patients throughout Kern County, and we continue to expand our diagnostic and clinical capabilities.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and interested in long-term professional growth within a collaborative outpatient neurology environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) accurately and efficiently under provider direction
- Assist with EMG workflow and support providers during diagnostic testing
- Prepare and position patients for testing procedures while ensuring patient comfort and professionalism
- Document testing information and patient data within the EMR system
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate diagnostic equipment as needed
- Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, referrals, and front office staff to support efficient patient flow
- Help maintain organized and compliant clinical workspaces
- Participate in workflow improvement initiatives as the clinic continues to grow
Qualifications
- Prior experience performing nerve conduction studies required
- Experience in neurology, neurodiagnostics, EMG, or related clinical settings preferred
- CNCT and/or R.NCS.T certification is a bonus, but not required
- Candidates currently working toward certification are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- EMR experience preferred
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to grow alongside the practice
