American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric PACU position at a children's hospital in SW Florida, requiring 2 years of experience, pediatric experience, and on-call availability.

Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting within a children's hospital
-
10-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 4 shifts per week

On-call is required for this position

Floating is required; travelers are the first to float, including to sister campuses located approximately 15–20 minutes away

EMR: Epic
-
Active FL RN license or Compact RN license required; DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Pediatric nursing experience required

Degree from an accredited nursing program required, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of accreditation

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidate's full DOB, SSN, RN license number, and current address are required for consideration

Travelers are expected to function as core staff members; cultural fit and team-player attitude are highly valued

Orientation begins on a Friday and includes remote orientation components; candidates must be present at the facility on that Friday for badging/ID

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as it will not be approved after the offer is made

Block scheduling requests are not accepted

Degree accreditation verification (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL Dept. of Health) is required for RN candidates
