Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Use power tools and equipment to cut, bend, and thread pipes
- Perform field service work, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects
- Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and propose solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Valid journeyperson plumber license
- Proficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems
- Experience with pipe threading and cutting using power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environments
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components
