Car Washer / Vehicle Wash Associate
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Speedway Automotive is looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our team as a Car Washer / Vehicle Wash Associate. If you enjoy working around vehicles, take pride in doing quality work, and want an opportunity to grow with a family-owned dealership, we'd love to meet you.
No professional detailing experience is required—we'll provide the training you need to be successful.
What You'll Do
As a Car Washer, you'll help ensure every vehicle looks its best before it reaches our customers or showroom.
Responsibilities include:
- Wash and rinse vehicles using proper equipment and techniques
- Dry vehicles thoroughly to provide a clean, streak-free finish
- Clean wheels, tires, and exterior glass
- Vacuum vehicle interiors as needed
- Keep the vehicle wash area clean, organized, and safe
- Move and park vehicles around the dealership lot
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness before they are delivered to customers
- Maintain washing equipment and notify management of any issues
- Follow all dealership safety procedures while operating vehicles and equipment
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus, but not required
- No previous experience necessary—we will train the right candidate
