The Electrician is responsible for the electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery. The Electrician is an essential component of Lywood Electric’s team.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Troubleshooting DC and AC circuits ranging from 24 VDC to 480 Volts AC.
· Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and installs electrical conduit and pulls wiring through conduit.
· Must have a strong working knowledge of electricity including both A.C. and D.C., electronics, power distribution, and circuitry protection.
· Must have ability to use PC’s, program PLC’s, interface with drive systems, and diagnose complex systems.
· Must be able to develop and diagram electrical drawings, read blueprints and schematics.
· Must be a confident decision maker and capable of making decisions within time and information constraints.
Qualifications and Skills
· Current Journeyman License is required
· Skilled in the use and care of all hand and shop tools and equipment of the electrical trade.
· Valid State Issued Driver’s License.
· Completion of OSHA 10-hour training preferred.
· Current CPR Certification Card preferred.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
· Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete job.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at a time.
· Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
· Must be able to work in all weather conditions and high noise levels.
· Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
· Must be able to work weekends as needed.
Education & Experience required
· High School graduate or equivalent required.
· Completion of accredited Electrical Technology certificate program required.
· Previous industrial electrical experience required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
