In this role, you will be working as a Quality Manager for a client that manufactures embedded computer boards, computer systems, and Ethernet switches used in industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications. This position will be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s quality system, including internal audits, quality system records, procedures, training, customer/vendor quality support, and interfacing with external auditors for annual audits or recertification.
This person will also support quality-related manufacturing and engineering activities, including reviewing and maintaining procedures, supporting corrective actions, providing quality feedback to manufacturing and engineering teams, and assisting with documentation related to production test, labeling, packaging, rework, and related processes.
This position is a Part Time / Consultative role that is W2 under contract. Cannot be Corp-to-Corp or 1099. This role is expected to be approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.
Pay: $55 - $65/hr, depending on experience
Job Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of quality systems, quality engineering, or quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
- ISO 9000 / ISO 9001 proficiency
- Production test, rework, labeling, packaging, or manufacturing support experience is a plus
- Experience writing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience supporting internal audits, external audits, corrective actions, quality records, and recertification activities
