Afterschool Science Teacher – Dinosaur Exploration Program
Contract | August to December | 3:15-4:45 pm| 80241 and/or 80017
Lead our hands-on Dinosaur Exploration program, where students dig into fossils, timelines, and extinction theories using real paleontology tools and methods.
Responsibilities:
- Follow a guided lesson plan (provided)
- Teach students about types of dinosaurs, the tools used to study them, and their history
- Manage classroom behavior and student safety
- Communicate with the team as needed
Requirements:
- Science teaching background preferred; dinosaur/paleontology knowledge a plus
- Comfortable leading elementary/middle school groups
- CPR, Mandated Reporter, and medication administration certs required (training provided for most)
- Reliable and available for a consistent weekly schedule
- Must be able to pass background check
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
