About the Role:
Inanna Manufacturing is a licensed cannabis edible manufacturer based in Downtown Los Angeles. We produce premium gummies, hard candies, syrups, drinks, chocolates, and tablets for top-tier cannabis brands. We're hiring a Manufacturing Confectionery Cook who can run daily production with precision and consistency — not a general kitchen cook, but someone who knows how to work with batch equipment and high standards.
You’ll lead cooking and depositing for our core products, work directly with our R&D team, and help scale new formulas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute precise daily batch cooks from SOPs and batch sheets
- Operate kettles, mixers, and depositors for edibles, gummies, syrups, and drinks
- Pre-weigh ingredients and prep batches with the inventory team
- Ensure accurate weights, lot codes, and full batch documentation
- Maintain GMP, food safety, and cannabis compliance standards
- Support small-batch R&D trials with experimental formulations
- Perform quality checks for consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance
- Clean, break down, and help troubleshoot cooking equipment
Who We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the US
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
- 1+ year in food manufacturing or candy/confectionery production
- Experience using commercial cooking equipment (kettles, mixers, depositors)
- Able to follow SOPs, recipes, and batch instructions exactly
- Can lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a high-output kitchen
- Detail-oriented and committed to consistency in flavor, texture, and dosing
- Reliable, on time, and team-first attitude
Bonus if You Have:
- Prior experience in cannabis edibles or regulated CPG manufacturing
- Background in candy making or gummy production
- Worked with scaling production or experimental batch testing
- Familiarity with batch tracking tools, Asana, or inventory systems
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Some flexibility required for R&D test batches
- Pay: $20–$25/hr depending on experience
