Unarmed Security Guard — School Site, Dyker Heights (Brooklyn)
ProtectX International Inc. is hiring licensed unarmed security guards for a school security post in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. This is a stable, recurring assignment with consistent weekly hours.
Pay: $17.17/hour base, plus medical benefits and supplemental benefits per the NYC prevailing wage schedule. Total compensation package valued at $25.29/hour or more. Rate increases with experience.
About the role
You will provide access control, visitor management, and a visible security presence at a school in Dyker Heights, protecting students, staff, and the facility during school hours. This is a security-only post: professional, alert, and focused.
Requirements
- Valid NY State Security Guard license (Article 7-A, 8-hour and 16-hour training complete)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Ability to stand post for full shifts and stay attentive
- Strong situational awareness and clear communication
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus
- Must pass background screening
