Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 to track stock levels and order status
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using order pickers and RF scanners to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against packing lists and shipping documents in compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Stock shelves efficiently, organize products for easy access, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
- Support packaging operations for e-commerce orders, ensuring products are securely packed for international trade shipments
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution or logistics environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and inventory stocking enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Ability to operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and confidently
- Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory accurately and processing transactions efficiently
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available
