Join our dynamic healthcare team as a General Surgery/Urology Robotics Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) / Physician Assistant (PA), where you will play a vital role in supporting robotic-assisted surgeries and perioperative care. Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during robotic-assisted surgeries by providing open surgical technique support and handling specialized surgical instruments.
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all robotic surgical equipment is sterile, functional, and ready for use.
- Support perioperative care by monitoring vital signs, maintaining aseptic technique, and managing patient physiology throughout procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning by coordinating post-operative care instructions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various surgical techniques including suturing, open surgery assistance, and robotic surgical assistance.
- Uphold hospital patient safety standards by adhering to infection control protocols, healthcare-associated infection prevention measures, and hospital policies for patient care.
Skills
- This is assist in surgery postion only, NO ROUNDING
- Expertise in DA- Vinci Robot required, certification
- Skilled in surgical assistance techniques such as suturing, open surgery support, robotic surgery assistance, and perioperative procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and analysis skills essential for patient assessment.
- Experience with requirements including medical-surgical units and working as a surgical first assistant.
- Ability to perform discharge planning effectively while ensuring compliance with infection control standards and healthcare safety protocols.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or higher is required; additional certifications in advanced trauma life support (ATLS) or perioperative nursing are preferred.

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per hour
