As a Cafe Smoothie Barista/Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for various tasks including smoothie mixology, food preparation, sales, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Assist with food/smoothie preparation and ensure that all food/smoothie items are prepared according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell products effectively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while utilizing retail math skills for processing orders.
- Buss tables and assist in maintaining a tidy dining area for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
