What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different.
One morning you may respond to a flooded basement after a pipe bursts.
The next day you could be leading a commercial drying project or helping a family recover after a devastating house fire.

Leadership Responsibilities
As our Lead Water Mitigation Technician, you'll lead emergency restoration projects from initial response through project completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead Water Mitigation Technicians and restoration crews on daily projects
- Set expectations and provide direction to crew members
- Train and mentor new technicians
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet Monroe quality standards
- Hold team members accountable for safety, productivity, and workmanship
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the restoration process
- Make jobsite decisions independently while keeping leadership informed
- Maintain accurate project documentation and moisture readings
- Ensure all work complies with IICRC standards and company procedures
Restoration Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses
- Perform water extraction using professional equipment
- Install and monitor structural drying equipment
- Remove damaged building materials including drywall, flooring, insulation, and cabinetry
- Perform demolition and controlled tear-out
- Take moisture readings and complete moisture mapping
- Set up containment when necessary
- Pack, inventory, and transport customer belongings
- Maintain clean and organized jobsites
- Complete documentation using company software
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures

Required QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of water mitigation, restoration, construction, demolition, or related experience
- Previous experience leading crews or supervising projects preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses
Preferred
- IICRC WRT Certification
- ASD Certification
- AMRT Certification
- FSRT Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Experience using moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras
- Experience with Encircle, DASH, Restore365, MICA, or similar restoration software
