Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Customer Service in a new FOOD TRAILER, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. We need a Bilingual (Spanish/English) cashier. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, handles transactions accurately, and ensures a smooth and enjoyable visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service from the moment they walk in.
- Operate POS systems.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, change calculation, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Upsell products by recommending popular or complementary items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area, including bussing tables and food handling.
- Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and food industry regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting.
- Engage in retail math for accurate inventory tracking and sales reporting.
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
