Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects.
Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting processes
- Diagnose electrical system issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on construction sites, renovation projects, and industrial facilities
- Follow electrical safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively during installation and repair tasks
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate electrical work within construction or renovation projects
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage systems
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements
- Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient project execution
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable
- Additional handyman skills or frame carpentry experience are considered a plus for versatile project support
