Jacquelyn's Cafe is Shreveport's iconic lunch hotspot, serving Creole & American classics in a friendly, jazz-inspired neighborhood cafe. We have been serving scratch-made, chef-inspired lunch dishes for more than 40 years.
Shift schedule: 8:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday
Basic Job Responsibilities:
- Kitchen prep work: washing, cutting, mixing
- Cooking: baking pies, cooking soups
- Dishwashing
Do you qualify?
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and sanitation principles
- Ability to follow recipes ensuring a consistent product
- Able to lift pots and pans, food products up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 6 hours period)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
